Why would this powerful prophet of God run from the boastful threats of an evil queen? Elijah acts like anyone of us who might forget God's covering love and protection in the midst of conflict and threats. How many of us have let another bully and abuse us into doing what they want? What fears stir in our hearts, what desperation. Pastor Gilman will offer us a narrative that parallels Elijah’s journey with another who has let the situation determine our reality.
