Sorrow: Do We Grieve Jesus?

Services

Sunday Worship - 11AM, communion 1st sunday of the month

Mar. 13, 2022

Welcome! This second Sunday of Lent we consider the Sorrow of Christ at Jerusalem (Luke 13:31-35). Jesus stops frequently on his journey to teach, heal, and comfort. He is familiar with temptation and sorrow and feels our pain deeply. In the face of opposition, Jesus stands firm and cries out against the abuser. He challenges the powers that suppress and opposes those who restrict access to God. Yet, many he would save grieve him. They chose the 'freedom' of their mistakes and pridefully go their own way without God. Have hope, come, and see!
