Liverpool First UMC has been diligently moving through the recommended steps of our Revitalization Consultation Report.  On 10/11/2022, the Administrative Council discussed in detail their reasons for considering a potential structural change as the Revitalization Consultation Report (Jan. 2020) recommended. 

    The Administrative Council unanimously agreed that proceeding with a simplified organizational structure is in the church's best interest. 

     As per the required process, the Administrative Council requested in writing the permission of District Superintendent Nola Anderson to explore a Simplified, Accountable Structure (SAS) keeping in mind paragraphs 243 & 247.2 of The Book of Discipline.  

    Plans have been made for an off-site retreat to discuss the process in detail.  D.S. Anderson will personally lead this session. All LFUMC members are invited to participate in this gathering. 

    We have reserved space at the UNYUMC Conference Center for Saturday, April 29, 2023, from 10 am - 3 pm including a break for lunch.  Food will not be provided. Please bring your own bag lunch and beverage. The Conference Center is 7481 Henry Clay Blvd., Liverpool, NY 13088. We will gather in Conference Room B.
