The Youth Ministry of Liverpool First United Methodist Church

It's hard enough to be an adult in this world, even harder to make sense of everything as a teen. Our Youth Fellowship normally meets every Sunday from 4:30 - 6 pm for music, friendship, fun, and conversation. Through it all, we'll discover how to listen to God and not be broken by the world's pressures.

We want all of our youth to know Jesus Christ and to find their ultimate joy and satisfaction in Him. We have designed our youth ministry to deepen understanding of the greatness of our God, and to give encouragement in the pursuit of godliness. Check out our events page to see any upcoming events for the youth of Liverpool First United Methodist Church.

"Don't let others look down on you because you are young but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity." 1 Timothy 4:12.

Safe Sanctuaries - Safety is our Priority

For the safety of all children, we use an ID system for all children from infant to 6th grade. Parents/guardians receive an ID tag to be used to pick up their children at the end of Sunday School. Safe Sanctuary policies are followed.

All children are required to have an adult complete a registration form on their behalf. This form allows us to know who is responsible for picking up the child and provides a contact number in case you are needed during service time.

In the unlikely event of an emergency where the church is evacuated, the pick-up zone for children will communicated to each parent. Children will remain with their Leaders until checked-out. A link will be provided to our complete Safe Sanctuary policy in the near future.

Confirmation Classes:

2025 Confirmation class completed! A New class will form in Spring 2025.

Confirmation is a time when young adults explore what they have been taught at home and church about being a Christian. Through a process involving reading, discussion, and hands-on experiences, teens discover how to define what and why they believe.

Camperships & College Scholarships

Through generous donations and ongoing fundraising, Liverpool First United Methodist Church offers opportunities for our active members to apply for College Scholarships.

  • Campership Scholarships applications are for children & youth, of active members who wish to attend one of the UMC summer camps.
  • Sophie Graze Scholarships are open to active Liverpool First United Methodist Church graduating High School Seniors who wish to advance their education beyond high school.

Eligibility criteria and applications for both are available in April and can be picked up in the Information Area, the church office, or call 315–457-5180 to have one mailed to you. Application deadlines, eligibility criteria, and guidelines are posted each spring.
