Welcome! Pastor continues his series called First Things. Our scripture today is Luke 6:27-38 - what is often referred to as "the Golden Rule". Jesus clearly establishes that we, as his disciples, are not to wait to see what the other person will do before we decide to be good to them. Neither are we to be trapped in a cycle of reciprocity - or eye for an eye. Instead, we are to seize the initiative by loving, doing good, and praying always for the benefit of others. Goodness and love start with God and God's people. What a blessing! Have hope, come and see!
