“What Must I Do?” Pastor Gilman continues to teach from the Gospel of Mark. In Mark 10:17-31, A Rich man begs Jesus to help him discover what he must do to gain eternity. It’s a perplexing question that discomforts those who are well to do and encourages those without more than necessary. Pastor shows us that the heart of the question is less about money and wealth than we might expect. It’s more of a discussion, hinged on one man’s weakness, but intended to be more broadly considered in the light of each of our shortcomings. Maybe the question is rightly, “What am I keeping from God that restricts me from God?”
